When the owner of this new build house moved in the first thing they did was to landscape the garden. An area some 35m x 10m which sloped towards the house, a drop of around 2m. The garden was designed on several levels using railway sleepers to terrace the garden. Wooden pergolas were added, a greenhouse, pathways and steps. The garden was planted with a mixture of shrubs, perennials and ornamental grasses, making a modern contemporary garden. During the Christmas season they bought a fir tree and placed it on the patio
